It's happening! After months (okay, maybe a couple of years) of dreaming, I'm officially in trip-planning mode for my long-awaited journey to South Korea this October! Cue the K-drama-worthy gasps, the excited dance moves, and a whole lot of espresso-fueled research (because, let's be real, I'm not surviving this planning stage without my Italian espresso.)
But before I start over packing my suitcase and practicing my 안녕하세요 (annyeonghaseyo) on repeat, I want to bring you a long for the ride. This isn't just a trip--it's a story in the making! And what's a good story without a little teaser?
What's on the Horizon?
Here's a sneak peak at what I'll be diving into:
✅ Itinerary Madness -- Seoul? Busan? Jeju? How do I fit it all in?!
✅ Foodie Dreams -- Can I survive on tteokbokki and hotteok alone?
✅ K-Drama and K-pop Moments -- Will I accidentally stumble onto a drama set? (Fingers Crossed.)
✅ Hidden Gems -- Because I love a good off-the-beaten-path adventures!
Oh, and did I mention I'll be documenting every step of the way? Expect behind-the-scenes peeks, planning tips, and maybe even some "lost in translation" moments.
Seoul Searching: Meet the Dream Team!
Every great adventure starts with a great team--and this one is no exception! Our first official planning meeting is in the books, and let me tell you, the excitement is real.
Meet the travel dream team--partners in adventure, foodie explorers, and soon-to-be pros at navigating the Seoul subway! (At least, that's the goal.)

Tteokguk (떡국) is a Korean soup traditionally eaten on New Year’s Day to symbolize a fresh start. This rice cake soup holds deep cultural significance, with each element carrying a special meaning:
• Purity – The white rice cakes represent a clean mind and body.
• Wealth – The round rice cakes symbolize coins, signifying prosperity.
• Longevity – The long-shaped rice cakes represent a long life.
• Good Fortune – The round shape of the rice cakes resembles yeopjeon, an old coin currency, symbolizing good fortune.
And this bowl of tteokguk (떡국), isn’t just a meal—it’s a wish for our to be year filled with adventure, discovery, and unforgettable memories in South Korea!
This is just the beginning of the journey, and I can't wait to share all the behind-the-scenes planning, unexpected discoveries and countdown moments with you!
Have any South Korea travel tips or must-do experiences? Drop them in the comment--we're all ears! 🫰🏻🇰🇷
Excited to share this journey with you! If you're dreaming up your own adventure---whether it's South Korea or somewhere else--I'd love to help make it happen. Let's turn your travel dreams into a reality! ✈︎ 🌍
